This course provides an overview of fundamental concepts in biotechnology which are pertinent to engineering and technology. Primary topics include: Cell, cell metabolic pathways, microbial growth kinetics both batch and continuous system, sterilization, enzyme kinetics, and biohazard and biosafety.
